Student homeworks describing international networks that are useful for business students for knowledge sharing, for identifying international career paths and international business opportunities are posted to this site. I recommend that each network overview could be structured in the following way:
1.Name of the network,how to access it (URL of internet-based networking tools)
2.Aims and functions of the network and/or the community in this network
3.Added value for business students
4.Some example, how the author of the posting or his/her friends have used or can use the network or community inside a larger network for business transactions, developing a new business or for acquiring business-related knowledge.

Twitter is online news and and social networking service where people post and share "tweets" which is the way they interact. People who are registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them. Twitter can also be downloaded to phones as an application.
Twitter is also an excellent way to market a products and services and meet buyers. It has many users from all age classes and many have it in their phones so it is at their fingertips all the time. What would be any better way for marketing?

Discord is a free text and voice chat originally made for gamers to replace TeamSpeak and Skype, but it has grown to be so much more with its 150 million users. Discord works like Slack, or actually Discord is essentially Slack but for a different target audience.
Pros
For me the most noticeable feature of Discord is that it is free. Premium subscription costs 5 dollars a month or 50 a year but it really only unlocks the ability to upload larger files and screen share with better quality than before.
Discords message history limit and storage limit are unlimited from the start and video chat is possible up to 8 people. Slack only saves 10 000 messages in their free version and voice chat limit is 2 people.
Discord has Push to talk option in voice chat and also noise reduction is possible.
It is also possible to create bots in Discord. Bots are artificial intelligence programs, which have the capability to be/do anything you program them to do, for example remind people of upcoming deadlines.
Cons
Discords primary users are gamers, and it shows. Their logo looks like a controller and one of the monthly premium packages include access to play free games. This is a huge turn off for companies looking for alternative team communication platforms. Also if someone uses Discord for both free time and working, he would have to mute all other channels that are not work related during the day. There is also a limit of 5 000 people per one channel.
